Christmas Opening Hours
Please note, we are closing the office at 1.30pm on Thursday the 22nd December 2022 for the Christmas Break. We are open for urgent matters on the 29th and the 30th December (reduced hours), and re-opening on Tuesday the 3rd January.

Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020
Under the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020, there is now no need to establish grounds for divorce. The sole ground is now “irretrievable breakdown”. The new Court fee is now £593.00, and the new Act removes the ability of your spouse to contest the divorce. Please do e-mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to commence divorce proceedings under the new Act.
We have of course been fully operational during the pandemic and are pleased to continue now with all restrictions lifted. However, please feel free to wear a face mask during appointments. In the first instance, please contact us by e-mail on email@example.com to enable us to assist you.
We are able to see clients in our offices. We have a large meeting room which can easily facilitate appointments. Please note appointments relating to Certified Copies and Swearing Statutory Declarations attract a £25.00 plus VAT charge, plus a £5.00 (no VAT) charge per Statutory Declaration, £2.00 (no VAT) per Exhibit, and £5.00 (plus VAT) per Certified Copy. Please note we cannot provide identity confirmation for non-existing clients.
Some of you may be anxious to get your legal affairs in order in particular with regards to Lasting Powers of Attorney (for either or both your health and well being and or your finances) and/or your Will. We can deal with these for you remotely via e-mail, and/or post, so if you are self-isolating, or do not wish to come to an office, the works can be done remotely for you. If you are house bound and not infectious we can come to you! If you need help with your affairs, please e-mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org with your requirements.
The Parish Church and Friends of Ripley Primary have got together to see if there is a way they can make volunteers available to help the sick and/or housebound as the Corona Virus spread continues Anna Arthur & Associates are signed up via The Ripley Reporter, to offer assistance if needed.
